How to delete/cancel a card? (Replace option)

WARNING! Deleting a card is an IRREVERSIBLE process. Depending on the card type, you could permanently lose your funds. Read the following information carefully before proceeding.

Impact based on card type

• Cards with shared balance: The anonymous physical card and the first virtual card share a balance. If you delete one, the funds will remain on the other, and you can recover them by getting a new card.

• Cards with independent balances: Physical named cards and virtual cards with independent balances will lose all their funds irreversibly if you delete them. You must withdraw the balance beforehand.

Recommendation: Use the Replace option

If you want a new card, we recommend the Replace option. By replacing an old card, you will not lose the funds you have on it.

Steps to delete a card

If, despite the warnings, you wish to delete a card, follow these steps:

1. In the Bitsa app, tap on the card you want to delete.

2. Select the settings icon.

3. Choose the "Delete" option.
