What is the Secret Code or SCA PIN

The SCA Secret Code is a security measure required to comply with the PSD2 regulation, which protects your remote payment transactions.

To generate it, follow these steps:

1. Enter the code you receive via SMS.

2. Enter the same phone number you used to register with Bitsa.

3. Generate your secret code. It must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

After generating it, it is very important that you log out and log back in using your email and password (do not use biometrics like fingerprint or Face ID). This code will be requested for online purchases, transfers from your card, and when using BitsaPAY.
